Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 2026
DeepUseCase contains affiliate links. When you sign up for a tool or service after clicking one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This disclosure exists to satisfy the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and comparable rules in other jurisdictions.
How affiliate links appear on this site
Affiliate links are inline in editorial articles — in tool reviews, comparison pages, and tutorials — wherever a specific product is discussed and we happen to be enrolled in that vendor’s program. Every affiliate link on this site carries the HTML attributes rel="sponsored" and noopener, so search engines and browsers correctly classify them as commercial links.
Why our reviews stay honest
We publish critical reviews of tools we participate in affiliate programs with. Our verdicts, ratings, and rankings are decided before we look at whether a vendor has a program — not after. We routinely recommend free tools, open-source alternatives, and competitor products when they are the better fit, even when doing so leaves money on the table.
If we ever accept a paid placement, sponsored review, or paid content brief, that specific piece of content is labeled explicitly as such (e.g. “Sponsored: …” or “This review was commissioned by …”). Standard affiliate links inside editorial reviews are disclosed via the sitewide footer notice and the inline banner at the top of any affected article.
What we do with the revenue
Affiliate commissions fund the editorial time, hosting, tooling, and independent testing that make deep tool reviews possible. They also underwrite our own AI automation product catalog (The Vault), which is how we validate the tools we recommend in real production workflows before covering them.
Amazon Associates disclosure
Where DeepUseCase links to physical products (books, hardware, accessories), we participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Click tracking
Some affiliate links on this site route through go.deepusecase.com before redirecting to the vendor. This lets us count clicks without setting cross-site tracking cookies. We log the link slug, timestamp, country (from your network), and a truncated referrer — never your IP address, email, or any personally-identifying information.
Editorial policy and methodology
For the long version of how we test, score, and rank tools, read our review methodology and about page. If you spot a review you think is unduly influenced by an affiliate relationship, email hello@deepusecase.com and we’ll take another look.
